Communion is Served Weekly at Worship

You are invited to partake of the communion elements provided, or if you are more comfortable bringing communion items from home (such as juice and crackers) you are welcome to do that instead! All are welcome at Christ’s table.

An Anti-Racism Advocacy Group

This group meets 1x/ month on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 7:30 pm-9 pm. A time to grow and discuss how we’re engaging the fight against racism – what we’ve tried, what worked, what we’re reading, how we’re struggling, and how we might advocate. To get the zoom, contact Deacon Kymm Hockman (Kymm@GenesisEquipping.com) .

Join the Prairie "Breakfast Club" supporting The Place!

FUMC downtown and Prairie Campus have a history of supporting the local shelter for youth experiencing homelessness, renamed as "The Place". We come at least one morning per month EARLY, to provide a hot breakfast for the 20 residents. We’ve formed the Prairie "Breakfast Club" to carry out this mission. If you'd like to be part of the cooking team or donate to help cover the cost of the food, contact Kymm Hockman (Kymm@GenesisEquippping.com).

First Sunday Food Pantry Drive – Bring your items on the first Sunday of every month!

The 1st Sunday of the month we collect items for Fresh Start Food Pantry. Between 3 to 7 of every 10 children in Colorado are food insecure right now and food pantries are experiencing more demands than ever. Let’s stock those shelves! Items needed: peanut butter, jelly, pasta and sauces, 1 lb. bags of rice and beans, canned goods like soups, stews, beans, veggies, and fruits, as well as hygiene items and toilet paper. On the first Sunday of the month, as you exit the parking lot after Drive-in worship, there will be a table to drop off your items.

Support the Prairie Campus with a 2022 Pledge!

While a global pandemic has taken us on a wild roller coaster ride, we as a community have experienced unexpected faith during these unexpected times. And through it all, Jesus keeps asking, “Do you love me? Feed my sheep.” (John 21:17) We want to keep loving Jesus by loving people – ALL kinds of people. We want to keep reaching them with the gospel and drawing them into a life changing relationship with God. Will you continue to “feed” Jesus’ sheep, by supporting the mission and ministry of the Prairie Campus? Pray over your 2022 pledge and consider what God would have you give. You can set up a pledge online by going to to the giving tab of this website at https://www.fumcprairie.org/give. You also might want to consider an automatic withdrawal for your pledge. This provides a steady stream of income for the church. To do that you can fill out the form on the “give now” button on the above link and make the gift recurring. Together, let’s love and feed Jesus sheep!

Habitat For Humanity (HFH) is quite active in The Springs!
